CourierX Courier Terms of Service

Version 1.0.0 — Last updated October 2026

This document is not legal advice. All liability limits, penalties, and enforcement provisions must be reviewed for compliance with Jamaican law.

1. Eligibility and account accuracy

You must provide accurate, current information and complete CourierX's required identity, contact, vehicle, and other applicable verification checks. You must keep your information up to date and must not impersonate another person or share your account.

2. Payment arrangements

The payment arrangement for each delivery is agreed directly between you and the business posting it, using any lawful method you both accept. CourierX does not hold, process, or guarantee these payments and does not require any particular payment provider. You must keep the details you use to receive payments accurate and up to date, and must not submit another person's account details without authorization.

3. Delivery offers and service

You may accept or decline offers subject to the platform's rules. Once you accept a delivery, you must make reasonable efforts to complete it safely, lawfully, and in accordance with the agreed instructions. You must accurately record pickup, delivery, delivery PIN, failed attempts, and other required status changes. Do not falsely mark a delivery as collected or completed.

4. Customer payments and delivery fees

The customer pays the agreed delivery fee directly to the courier under the displayed payment arrangement. You must communicate the fee clearly, collect only the amount agreed through CourierX, record collection truthfully, and not demand unauthorized additional charges. Product-sale revenue belongs to the business and is outside CourierX's delivery-fee commission.

5. CourierX commission

CourierX's commission is 15% of the delivery fee unless a different lawful rate is clearly disclosed and accepted through an updated agreement. You must pay the verified commission amount through one of the active settlement methods configured by CourierX. You remain responsible for valid outstanding balances and must not submit false payment references or receipts.

6. Missing collections, non-remittance, and suspected fraud

If payment is not received, a customer disputes collection, or an amount is missing, you must report the matter promptly and cooperate reasonably with a fair investigation. CourierX may restrict new assignments while investigating credible evidence of serious misconduct, subject to applicable law and a fair review process. Where evidence reasonably indicates theft, fraud, falsified records, or other potentially unlawful conduct, CourierX may preserve relevant records and report the matter to the appropriate authorities. Any lawful recovery, contractual charge, or penalty must be disclosed, supported by a valid legal basis, and applied fairly. No fine, arrest, prosecution, or conviction is automatic or guaranteed.

7. Evidence and disputes

You must provide truthful records and cooperate with reasonable reviews of delivery-fee disputes, payment disputes, complaints, and suspected misconduct. You may submit your explanation and supporting evidence. CourierX will review relevant information and record the outcome.

8. Safety and lawful conduct

You must comply with applicable Jamaican laws, road-safety requirements, vehicle requirements, and reasonable delivery instructions. Do not use CourierX for illegal goods or unlawful activity. Protect customer property and information.

9. Account suspension and termination

CourierX may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary for safety, fraud prevention, repeated violations, failed verification, or unresolved serious complaints. Where appropriate and safe, CourierX will provide the reason and a way to challenge the decision. Any outstanding amounts remain subject to verification, dispute handling, and applicable law.

10. Privacy and location

CourierX may process the information reasonably needed to operate deliveries, verify eligibility, prevent fraud, and provide tracking. GPS collection must be disclosed and limited to legitimate operational needs. Location access must not be used for unrelated tracking.

11. Changes and contact

CourierX may update these terms with appropriate notice and acceptance where required. Provide a visible support/contact route within the application.

12. Acknowledgment

By checking the acceptance box and submitting your application, you confirm that you have read and agree to these terms and understand that your application must be reviewed and approved before you can receive delivery offers.

For questions about these terms, contact CourierX support through the app or at the support contact route provided in your account settings.
