CourierX Business Terms of Service

Version 1.0.0 — Last updated October 2026

This document is not legal advice. All liability limits, penalties, and enforcement provisions must be reviewed for compliance with Jamaican law.

1. Business information

You must provide accurate business, contact, pickup, and authorized representative information and update it when it changes.

2. Listing deliveries

You are responsible for providing accurate pickup and drop-off addresses, contact details, package descriptions, package size, handling instructions, delivery-fee information, and any other required information. Do not list prohibited, dangerous, illegal, or inadequately disclosed items.

3. Package preparation and handover

Packages must be securely and appropriately packed. You must make the package available at the agreed pickup point and confirm the handover accurately. Report incorrect, damaged, missing, or unsafe packages promptly.

4. Delivery fee and product payments

CourierX facilitates delivery services only. Customers pay the delivery fee directly to the courier under the displayed arrangement. Businesses retain their product-sale revenue and are responsible for their own product pricing, customer receipts, refunds, and product-payment arrangements. CourierX's 15% commission applies to the delivery fee only and is not a commission on the value of products sold.

5. Fair and lawful conduct

You must not instruct a courier to collect unauthorized fees, falsely mark a package as handed over, manipulate a delivery record, or use the service for unlawful activity. Do not ask couriers to transport prohibited items.

6. Complaints and disputes

Report failed pickups, missing packages, damaged goods, disputed delivery fees, and suspected misconduct promptly. Provide truthful information and reasonable supporting evidence. CourierX may investigate, preserve relevant records, and restrict a listing when reasonably necessary for safety or fraud prevention.

7. Courier conduct and incidents

CourierX may review reports of suspected theft, fraud, non-remittance, or other misconduct. Where warranted, suspected criminal conduct may be referred to the appropriate authorities. No person will be described as guilty solely because a complaint has been made.

8. Account restrictions

CourierX may restrict or suspend a business account for material violations, fraud, unsafe listings, repeated abuse, or legal compliance reasons. Provide reasons and a reasonable review process where appropriate.

9. Data and privacy

Use courier and customer information only for legitimate delivery and support purposes. Do not misuse, sell, or disclose personal information without a lawful basis.

10. Liability and legal review

Any liability limits, indemnities, refunds, dispute procedures, and other legal provisions must be reviewed for compliance with Jamaican law before activation. Do not insert arbitrary or unenforceable penalties.

11. Changes and contact

Display updates to these terms and provide a clear CourierX support/contact route.

12. Acknowledgment

By checking the acceptance box and submitting your business registration, you confirm that you have read and agree to these terms.
